Default BD Folding seats

I have a 97 sedan with the split folding seats and the little tab that you can pull to fold down the seats got folded up in the seat. I got the one for the passenger side out but the one on the driver side is still stuck. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get it unstuck?

the only idea i could think of is remove the whole seat and see if it comes out them. cause it has to detached for you to take it out.

it's going to sound dumb, but the are locks on them you need to turn off the lock on that side. should be a slider switch on the back of the seat to disable the lock. Unless your talking about having the unlocked and the little pull tab is stuck inside....then you should be able to fish it out with some wire...

Best of luck..

Samething happened to mine when I bought it. I left it for a while, but then I got board and fishing it out using a long flathead screwdriver. Took about 15min. to figure it out. I can't really say "how" but just fish and you'll figure it out.

Get yourself a pair of long needlenose pliers. (Actually I like the idea of using a screw driver or coat hanger cause you can get it in the loop and just pull) I get mine stuck all the time, its annoying, I know. Have a friend push the cushions away from the area, and you should be able to look inside and grab it with the pliers. (Friend not necessary)

If the tab is actually behind the seat and folded back (not just slid far to the right), you need to get in the trunk and grab a flathead screwdriver and move the latch itself. Look at the other side to understand what you need to do.

Good luck.
