Throwing the following check engine lights, car has only been turboed for about two tanks of gas. I've looked through all the threads relating to these codes, and have checked the following

Vehicle is a 2002 Forester with a MAP sensor.
Vortech FMU with J&S Safeguard

Vacuum line to FPR is secure, with no leaks.
Checked O2 sensor harness, all secure
Will throw both codes within 15 minutes of driving.
Vehicle has had the ECU refalshed last year before turbo, don't think they replaced the front O2. Invoice doesn't mention the DTC that it threw, however I know it was related to front o2. Could have been the same code.

Heard from reading that P0171 doesn't usually come up if the sensor is bad, and the fact that it happened right after the turbo was put on makes me suspicious of a bad sensor.

I throw myself upon the mercy of your greater knowledge.

thanks

Duncan

well the P0171 is fuel trim malfunction, A/F too lean, which yea, you put a turbo on and the 02 sensor is getting too lean of readings, i wonder why

the p0130 is also related to the front 02 recieving too lean of readings.

o2 sensor is installed in the downpipe. Lots of people have this setup. Do you have any suggestions?

are you still using your stock ecu for fuel control with just a RRFPR? If it is still controlling fuel and it says you are lean, you may want to turn down the boost until you figure it out because you may in fact be lean. did you ever install the 02 and not hook it up so that it wasnt getting heat?

do you have a voltage clamp on the MAP sensor?

J&S has a built in map sensor. Using stock ECU and RRFPR. Boost is only at 3psi right now. O2 is hooked up.
