white smokes usually means headgasket failure? I wonder about the intermittent part. If the gasket fails enough to cause enough steam to show, it's getting rather bad

I just found it was a small leak on my borla headers
I am wondering if it is worth re-welding it or just bite the bullet and switch to TWE

borla has a lifetime warrantee, call them and have them fix your problems.

Search the forums, it is a complex process and has a low probability of collecting on the million mile warranty

i dont get the point of buying a borla, it cracks and rust. you give it back to borla and they repair it for you. several months later, it cracks and rusts. and the process never really goes away. The only reason i can think of is the price...

For single port heads 1995-1999. Borla is the only vendor of headers

It would seem that Borla has too many issues with the design, material or fabracation problems to consider them a quality product ie busted welds, SS rusting? and repairing rather than replacing under waraanty.

If other vendors were available I would gladly buy from them
But as of now, for single port headers, Borla is the only vendor
