You talking to me? I was asking cunningham what turbo he had.

The turbo on mine is a new pt&e 5557 billet. I made the p/s lines myself.

I am running the new BorWarner S259 twin scroll. I love it power comes on arond 3,000 RPM all the way to red line. At 18 PSI I made 360WHP and at 22 PSI i made 424WHP. The turbo was very happy @ 22 PSI but the cluch didn't want to hear it. It can run up to 35Psi no propb!

Looks like you kept a/c as well. What size spacers are you running?

8mm are usually the size used to keep the ac.

I'm planning on reversing a 2.5i manifold off a 2005 impreza on my 04 sti. Phil from element used this but not reversed. He used 15mm spacers to clear the avcs solenoids. In my case will I still need spacers since it's reversed it may clear the solenoids? Anyone reverse this manifold? I tried a search in this thread but results didn't show anything. I also want to retain a/c.

For reference here's a pic of the 2.5i manifold not reversed:

Nope, no-one has revesed one, Im pretty sure its too tall. Id just set it on your motor and see what clears before you dive in IE. HOOD clearance. 100% sure the alt will need to be flipped to the ac location. Take some pics and post it up when the manifold is placed, that way it will be in this thread.

Hi, I was able to reverse my manifold without using the spacer, just lower the alternator and still keep the AC. I have to extend all the black hoses that connect to the manifold( I suppose everyone have to do that right???). However, I have trouble clean up all those hose( just to make engine bay less complicated). I will post pic up later.

Hood clearance isn't issue at all, I cut the section of the hood that rub the intercooler hose and it fit perfectly.

It's 04 wrx. I used 34.5 in belt or something( i will update later). 2.5 hot/2.75 cold pipe. I have to grind something in order to make it fit( not much of grinding anyway). I will post pic soon

So you reversed the 2.5i intake manifold? You have a wrx which doesn't have avcs solenoids to have to clear. So in my case I would need spacers.

I reverse my stock manifold, from 04 wrx( not 2.5i manifold). I dun know avcs solenoid is but all I do is grind down the alternator a bit so my pipe not touch it.

I also thought since the purpose of reversing manifold is to shorten the fmic pipe, so I also reroute my piping to make it even shorter. I save about 5-6 ft of pipe length, and it def spoon faster.
here is some pics, engine bay is messy though.

Does your hood close? You need to do the coolant bypass mod too. I also wouldnt run hoses between the tb and alt.

Yeah I will have to fix that hose b/t the TB and Alt. Thanks

Yes. My hood closes perfectly. I cut the section of the hood, but i didn't take pic of it though.

I'm researching coolant bypass mod now.

there ya go man. also, dont need to use that barb fitting. just use the existing hose line. one is long enough to reach both points. (so you have to remove one line and then just attach the other line to that side).

very simple.
