There are a bunch of different types of phenolic sheet. Idk what grimmspeed and ks tech uses but I would guess its a glass fabric version from looking at it. There is a bunch of stuff you can use.

Thanks. I just ordered some on Ebay. I plan to have a friend cut out on a few on his router. I just want to rotate the throttle body back to 180 and collect data.

I've never used a standalone on a stock block before, so I've never really logged knock per cylinder (normally just culled knock raw). I don't know what to make of the data in terms of adjusting trims, as I've never given it much thought. But now that I can parse the data and I'm on a stock block, it's clear that cylinder 1 is louder right now than the rest. Also cylinder 1 is showing less voltage with the meth turned off, so I'm just assuming at this point it's a distribution issue.

For best effect, as somebody posted, you would have an extractor opening, like the WRC cars, for the high-mount FMIC in some of the reverse manifold setups and the V-mount ones.

Now, Prodrive had made a very small run of FMIC Sti in 2004-2005 and they did something with the hood scoop. They deleted it, but created something to replace it, and I think it was reversed to work as an extractor, a very clean solution.
That car was the Sti WR1. I never saw a clear picture of how that scoop thing they designed worked. If someone was to find or have one, would be nice to see it...

Couple updated pics from today. I shortened my throttle cable, I just need to go buy the end. Also still waiting on one coupler to arrive.

Do you have problems tuning your MAF with it so close to the compressor of the turbo?
