I can second that opinion, regarding the delivery and quality of the system. I just got my last night (right on schedule!!) and will be installing Saturday. The quality of the exhaust is very good. The muffler is hand made, so it is not quite as "perfect" as you would find on a mass prodruced muffler, but it has a nice polish to it. The welds are very well done and the materials used are top quality. One thing I notice on my system that no one has mentioned is that they weld a small "MRT" logo on the muffler (center lower back of muffler). Nice touch!
The tips that come with it are not the best. I have ordered some other ones to complete the system. I think you can fit 3.5" tips, but 3.0" tips will work for sure. The twin outlets from the muffler are 2.0" diameter each. The only problem I can see is the exhaust outlets did not come out straight (angle into each other). I don't think this is a big problem since I should be able to compensate when the tips are welded on.
Kudos to Dan at Vivid. Everything was exactly as he said. Can not tell you how many times I have been let down by vendors, but Dan really delivered as promised.

Nice review and I agree with all of this. I've had my MRT for about 2000 miles now and remain convinced it was a great choice. Not too loud, but a nice deep rumbling flat 4 sound. Fit and finish were great for me and I agree the only weak area is the tip (I have the single and it could be better finished, I will get a better aftermarket one some day.)

How much did the MRT run you? Also, does anyone have a picture of the kit? Thanks all.

Default MRT turbo back-nice!

I've had mine on for a couple of days now, and it is nice! Not too loud, just deep and rumbly. Fit and finish are good, except for having to modify the A/C drain line to clear the cat (it's on the other side in Oz!). Nice seat of the pants power increase throughout the power band, particularly up top. No CELs. I have to give Dan @ Vivid a lot of credit, I tried to get other pipes-unsucessfully (to the other vendors out there, I will not wait months to get parts!) Dan said I would have the pipe in 10 days, 9 days later there was a nice box at my door!

So did anyone else have this A/C line problem? I am getting my exhaust next week, I ordered a while ago and I want to tell my mechanic everything to look out for.

When I bought my Stage 1 kit from Compass Motorsports (Not MRT), they included some pipe that replaced the rubber hose and clipped into the same spot as the hose. Can't even tell the difference without touching it. It would be fairly easy to do yourself.

Default Its on!!!!!

It is on! And it sounds awesome. Not as quiet as I anticipated, but not intrusive. A great rumble and roar. Between shifts is has a roar that reminds me of a turbo 911. Drivability has been improved with better spool up and the throttle response feels quicker. Just love the sound.
I do not have the tips on yet, but it still looks great on the car. My install went without a hitch. Everything lined up perfect and even the downpipe went on easily. I made it harder on myself since all I had to work with was car ramps. I would recommend some jack stands since it is very hard to work the whole car length, especially if you have a bit of a gut. Tight Fit!!
Thanks Dan!! I will send you pics when it is complete.
