Default When was the most pissed off you've ever been?

In light of the numerous anger-inducing threads in OT today...

When do you remember being more pissed off than ever? What did you do to attempt to relieve said anger?

Mine is a toss-up from when my ex-fiancee cheated on me and when my car was broken into. The former left four knuckle-sized dents in the metal door of my fridge and a broken chair (no joke, I scared the crap out of my roommate). The second was a lot of swearing, but no actual physical violence (I've calmed down a lot since the first incident years ago).

Probably the day I found out my ex-wife had been cheating on me for a year and a half.

And this was three weeks after I had moved out because I told her about her Sister and me....that did help some.

The last time I had someone shooting at me really pissed me off, but at least I got to shoot back and my gun was much larger. (really misses his MK-19)

ahh, probably last night. Some trash smashed the windows on my Rex while i was in a movie. Luckily, my alarm did its job because nothing was stolen. But now i have to sit home all day long (and be on here), waiting for the glass company to come out and fix my windows.

When a friend of mine's husband smacked her in the face right in front of me. I grabbed him by the throat and the back of the head, marched him through the screen door, and proceeded to dangle him off their 3rd floor balcony.

Either:

-returning to my car after work in the train station parking lot to find that it had been broken into - window smashed, but nothing valuable missing - I had removed the face plate for the HU, and I am sure that is what they were after

or

- in university, I had 3 essays due on the same day - great procrastinator that I am, was 75% through the 2nd one when my POS computer crashed and I lost the whole essay - I learned a valuable lesson that day ( 8 years ago) about saving and backing up my work

when my first long time g/f called me and told me she cheated on me. i still to this day can't believe how much rage went through me. throughout high school, i built many model cars and had them proudly displayed in my room. well, i started picking them up one by one, while i was still on the phone with her, and punching them into the concrete walls (room was in basement) obliterating them completely. i had 12 model cars, and 10 of them suffered the wrath of my hatred. after discovering that she hung up the phone in my fit of rage, i promptly smashed my hand through my door.

by that time, my parents heard the commotion, and my dad was through my door and had me in a bear hug so I would stop breaking things. He said it took everything he had to contain me. And at some point I think I blacked out.

its scary what hormones and emotions can do to a guy. to this day, i'm not the same person. it opened my jar of adrenaline, and now its much easier to tap into. i can still feel that pain and anger deep down...and it's been too long since it has been released. hopefully i'm in a padded room when the time comes.

Generally I don't get angry too often.
I don't allow it to happen or people to bother me as much.

I might be annoyed or upset but generally its quite rare for me to get pissed off.
When I do though I'm not the yelling screaming punch & break my own stuff kind of cat.
I just get quiet and very focused.

In 36 years I think I've been at the stage of being pissed only four or five times including the night my car was broken into and my lifes collection of music stolen.
One of the angriest time I've been in life though easily is back when SistaJanq told me the schools bully was jacking her lunch money.
Nobody and I mean no one messes with my sister I don't care how big they are.
I told the story ages ago in some other thread toward fighting...

when a former friend came into my work bragging about how he had gotten laid that morning, just gloating and being a prick. Normally, not an issue, but it was with my ex, who he moved in on LITERALLY the day we called it off. On a bike ride I had organized, and was there for.
I just about put his head through a glass case.

or

When I found out that some ass date-raped my best friends sister. The beating that ensued in front of his mother was the most gratifying thing I have ever done.

I was really pissed off God when he took my oldest bro from us back in '96.

But after a couple of years I finally understood the meaning.

Besides that, everything else is small mickey mouse **** compared to 96.

I remember being at a bar with a few friends...this one guy we were with kept giving me crap about this and that...nothing really.

For some reason, about ten minutes after he said his last word to me, I snapped. I got up off my stool, went over to where he was and threw a forearm under his neck and dragged him straight up and over his bar stool. This got the attention of most of the bar...

I swung him around and onto the floor of the bar and while keeping my forearm pressed into his throat I pinned him against the bar and floor.

Since I had his attention, I told him that I'd appreciate it if he quite talking **** to me and just chill the **** out so we could all have a good time. Since speaking was out of the question, a simple nod did the trick.

I got up, offered him my hand, helped him into his seat and I went over to finish my drink.

We've been cool ever since.

i've had 2 incidents...ever. i'm that quiet, reserved guy, that never gets angry.

1) random fight starts outside of my gf's (at the time) house in college. 3 guys stole some random stuff from the house. one guy swings at my buddy. all hell breaks loose. i turn and look and see one guy that now had my older brother pinned and was repeatedly punching him. i rocket across the driveway and scream. i pull the guy 90 degrees so he can see my face. i give him one skull crushing shot to the face. he spins and falls to the ground...lays there motionless. as the guy hit the ground, i see another body literally flying through the air from right behind me. turns out that some guy was about to blind-side me and my monster roommate came to my aid and launched one guy clear across the driveway.

2) mid-term week junior year. one of my housemates who i had a deep hate for decides to be a funny guy and trip me. i wind up slamming my lower back into the edge of the closet door. slicing my back open and pinching a nerve in my back. the sheer pain sent me into a rage. i get up and flip on the guy. walking progessively close and closer to the POS that hit me. screaming. veins tearing through my face, neck and shirtless chest. i already had veins that you could trace from my hip all the way to my fingers. everything bit of adrenaline my body has was pulsing through me. my 155lb frame to 230lb fat ass. i got myself under control and left the room to finish my work. he moved back home for almost a week once i left the room.

well I have a bad temper so for me it is pretty often.

1) gf (now ex) hooks up with two of my friends at a party on the SAME NIGHT!
2) some dude slapped his gf in the face while at a store in public.

I don't really get angry much any more, because 95% of the time you have only yourself to be angry at.

But my record is the time that I spent the evening in the cold and wet helping my girlfriend fix her car, and then (I later found out) as soon as we got back to the house, she was sitting not 6 feet behind me giggling and making plans over IM with the guy she was seeing behind my back. I mean, giggling out loud.

Question:

Why is it that folks go breaking/damaging their own stuff/themselves when mad about other people/things?

No way I'm gonna go break my own windows or put my foot through my by bigscreen TV (I've seen this IRL) because some girl said she don't love me anymore.
If you gotta exert enrgy go lift or do push ups which is what I do.

Breaking your own stuff is fubar as now you gotta go pay/work to repair/replace it.
