If I have my new turbo setup done by then it would be nice. As I am going to have to trailer my car to Houston and have the tune worked out there by Jarrad. Who knows when that'll be . I'm tenativly(sp) in

Sounds good. He was very open when he could come down, so its just a matter of getting everyone together. We will need someone to be in charge and organize it, but we can figure out who once we know we have enought people interested.

If 10 people sign up how much total $$ would it be per person for a tune?

split expenses for travel + (I'm guessing here based on his other trips, 150$ an hour?).

Bear with me as I just got my 02 WRX (TBE, totally cat-less, hoses, GFB BOV, that's it) earlier this year so I have a few basic questions:

- My car has a stock ECU. Can/will he reflash my stock ECU as part of the tune? This may be a dumb question but an EcuTek tuned ECU goes for around $600 so if I have to pay the $600 + tuning, I'm out. Call me a cheap ass (my wife does all the time).

- This is my daily driver so I want a fairly conservative tune. Since my car has pretty basic mods would it take any more than an hour to tune it?

- With 10 people is this an all day affair? Are time slots scheduled?

Thanks in advance.

If the tuning is gonna be like mid-week in august or somewhere therabouts then my swap should be finished and you can definitely count me in (unless the cost is astronimcal..). How much are we looking at in total for the dyno tune?

Also, not to impede or anything, but i think we could get more subies here in houston than in DFW, that way it would reduce the cost for all of us...

Cheap ass .. The reflash either (Streettuner or Ecutek) will require either the purchase of an access port or purchase of the ecutek. I do believe if you purchase the ecutek from him, he will give a free tune.

Thanks Tanj! However, I don't know the pricing.. This is just a feeler to see who all is interested. Once we get enough people interested, I will then discuss pricing with Clark. The prices above are only estimates of what tuning usually runs.

this makes me sad... as they are the only place even remotely near us that can do a protuner tune, but I don't want them to tune my car...

you sure? I have heard that ecutek licensed tuners are not using protuner... I can understand that he can Street tune, but that's because he doesn't need a license to do that...
