Default is anyone running spacers on their wheels

i want to get a 17x8 wheel, still deciding , but i want the wheels to be almost flush with my fender. doe anyone have spacers in right now?? doesnt matter what size wheel or size spacer. and will their be problems with them if i do decide to get them

well there's always a problem with spacers, where they add alot of outer force on the bearings and will reduce their life quickly.

you should try to fit the wheels on your car before getting spacers to see how they look.

Although there's an increased potential for bearing failure, there's no certainty that it would happen "quickly" (if at all). Having said that, I agree that it's better to stick with the proper offset. .....and not just for concern over the bearings (i.e. affects on handling/performance, etc.).

I use 3mm spacers on my Compomotive TH2's so that they clear the 2pot caliper, no ill effects yet, however these arnt really daily driver wheels/tires.
