Default Buying parts in Canada

I have to say, if you are in Canada and you need something for your car check these guys out.

http://www.lac-ss.com

Called them yesterday about a rear strut bar, they had it in stock, shipped it same day, I just got home for work and it was here waiting for me. They replied to my emails within minutes gave me exact price quotes and were a joy to deal with. Maybe it's just me because I'm still waiting on my engine and tranny mounts (7 months now) but these people are excellent, I will be ordering anything I can from them in the future. Aswell, anything they don't have on their web site they still might have in stock or will order in for you, ala my cusco rear strut bar.

Simply awsome.

Thanks for the link.

Some reasonable prices for some stuff and a little out to lunch for others. The Whiteline stuff is pricier than PDM Racing but the AGX's are right in the lower end of the ballpark as it relates to other vendors.

Too bad they don't have an expanded line of products to choose from.

Flatline,

That website you gave is an actual Subaru dealer!

It's Subaru Lachute.... Most people around Ottawa and Montreal drive there to buy most of their aftermarket parts.....

I recommend them.....

I most certainly am aware that Lachute is advertising in C$ and PDM in us$, but if you do the conversion, PDM is still cheaper with some parts. The Whiteline springs at Lachute are especially expensive compared to what you would pay at PDM.

Cheers,
MB

Finally got my whiteline front tower strut from PDM, $130 cdn include Tax/shipping (UPS) from Don...He shipped it Wednesday & received it Friday afternoon. Excellent service & price is right too.
Will definitely be dealing with PDM racing!!

Peace out,
Mykael

Markus,

How easy it it to install the front tower bar? just unscrew & rescrew it on? does the car has to be on flat level ground? it won't screw up the alignment.

Peace out,
Mykael

Mykael,

Very easy install. Leave it on flat ground, unscrew the three bolts on each side, place the strut tower bar in place, and tighten the bolts back on. Make sure not to tighten too much to strip the bolts and you will be fine. I checked the bolts after 500kms and they had not loosened. Alignement should not be affected but the strut tower bar.

The rear strut tower bar is a little tougher to get in there but much more worth it. The front strut towers are very close to the firewall therefore it doesn't help nearly as much as the rear bar.

Good Luck,
Stefan
