Default Past two nights someone has tried to steal my car, a total of 3 times.

I park my car on the street without choice, I have no room for it anywhere else. The past two nights someone(s) has tried to break into my car 3+ times. I've only heard the alarm 3 times, but I do sleep like a rock.
I wouldn't think much of it, maybe someone drove by it with a loud exhaust or radio.
But, theres been two cars stolen from my street this year already. It's mainly because I live a couple blocks from the 121. And, everytime I hear my alarm go off, couple seconds after that while I'm rushing to the window or for my keys, I hear a being put into gear and driving off. So someone must be trying to get inside of it.
I really don't know what to do about this. So heres my plan to stop them next time.

Tonight I'm staying up all night with 911 on speed dial and a bat next to me. Normally I wouldn't take action myself, but I've got nothing better to do and I get to use a bat.

Neither would a gun...that's why I love Texas so much. Owners can use lethal force to protect their property.

lethal force on property is only good in the dark hrs. to protect your life anytime is good . be clear about the night time part.

Sucks, Hopefully no one tries to steal my car, bongo (teh trunk monkey) might try and kill them tho. Hope they dont try it again but if they do.... may you "catch" them. Bats are good, I keep one behind my seat at all times....

18" expandable baton. Works nice, hides well. Goes hand in hand with CHL.

Report the attempted burglary to police so they have a heads up and give them the approximate time it is happening. Hopefully they'll patrol your area more frequently.

a sign that says "Smile you're on camera" might be more effective

Put a big rubber snake on the dash like in those old mid-90s Viper alarm commercials. Just those commercials used to scare the **** out of me... imagine looking inside to steal it and there's a snake on the seat.

I once had someone try to break intol my car at my old house, I had a camera watching my driveway after it was broken into once, he was quickly met with an HK Benelli M1 Super 90 12 Gauge semi-auto shotgun pack with some nasty stuff, probably would have torn my car apart too. Any one with at least a little common sence should know to cut your loses and just walk away from that, and this person did, never had any problems after that. I did not live in the greatest area a while back, I am in a better area now. Also had an incident where someone put a screw driver to the side of my car doing some nasty damage. I heard that sound of metal on metal scraping down my car, it was 3 kids and the one with the screw driver had a pistol shoved in his face in a matter of seconds.

I have zero tolerance for crime, and have no respect for anyone who carries out criminal acts against people who work hard and earn what they get. Crime needs to be dealt with in a harsh manner, I could have called the police and had them goto court and get probation and in the long run, you and I pay for that in taxes, or I could have these kids realize that they made a mistake, and it could have been a painful one.

A friend of mine had the old "steal me" Chevy pickup in high school. We put a fusible link on the fuel pump, rated just below the current draw. Then put a switch around it. If the switch was on, pump ran normally. If it was off, pump would run about a minute and die. When the thieves stalled in the middle of an intersection, they ran. His truck was stolen 5 times his senior year. Generally, he could find it before the cops got there.

electrify the body with an electric fence hardware while you park it

Leave a big huge block of dry ice in the car every night, you can't drive without passing out till you let the car air out for 30+ minutes and no perminant damage

Boil a white oleander for 3 days untill it is just a thick paste, then paint it on your door handles and install door poppers because it will kill a human almost instantly on contact.

Hide under the car and if anyone messes with it slice through their achilles tendon and laugh as their hamstring cramps/shrinks and imobilizes them.

Leave it unlocked with an AIDS infected needle sticking out of the driver's seat - they still steal the car but you get the satisfaction of knowing that them and all of their junkie friends will die a slow death.

or, instead of AIDS, use baloney DNA such that it will fuse with their own and eventually turn them into baloney.

Rob might be the only person that gets the reference

take off your wheels, put your car on blocks that way they will think there is competition and go out looking for the other people in their area, start a gang war, and you car will be safe.
