There is a Chinese company called XS Power... usually these Ebay sellers like to put the word "turbo" in the title, for better search results, thus making the product say "Turbo XS power...".

They also like to throw in a picture of a real Turbo XS intercooler, mixed in with pics of the actually product. You see the real one, don't quite connect the discrepencies in pics, and think "This must be a blemish, or grey market version."

If anyone actually had the intercooler or a write up on it, then it would be considered by the community. But if you buy say the TXS FMIC and have problems you can call them or the vender! I bet the e-bay FMIC guys will tell you to get bent when it shows up looking like a POS!

That's me for sure. I only have two 05 turbo Subys (STi and a Legacy gt limited wagon), 03 WRX drag car, GN (17,000 original miles), Stage I block GN, F-150, jet boat, 22ft. enclosed trailer, 85 Buick Rivirea T-type, motorcycle, two kids and a wife. Saving a little money is not just for poor idiots anymore. I happen to do quite well, thank you. (need any dental work, call me, umK)

Yeah, they suck with only a 99.9% positive feedback. Total garbage IMO.

So have you hooked up one of those extra big air compressors like in a mechanic shop to run all of the little air tools used in dentistry??

The piping can't be made from Burmese soda cans, because Burma doesn't exist.

Now, Myanmar soda cans, thats totally possible.

And they have plenty of good metals to work with. Maybe they make their cans out of Tungsten??

I don't know if anyone has bothered to notice, but modding Subarus is expensive relative to a lot of comparable cars. I don't have the disposable income a lot of you have (wait until you have to pay for kids college and weddings), so I'm in favor of anything that helps lower costs.

I effin hate people who take the condesending attittude that if you don't get the "best" (read: most expensive) then you're scum.

We drive a god damn subaru. It's the best sports car FOR THE MONEY. It's not like the Impreza was our dream car and we thought about a 911 but decided for a box with a big wing.

I for one am not gonna pay $900 for an intercooler if there is one that does exactly the same thing for $400. Apparently the extra $500 is worth it to you so you can turn your nose up to other members on the board.
winner!

Thanks for sparing me from replying myself

Military coup took charge and renamed, however, I guess if nobody respects their new name, it isn't a name change?

note: since 1989 the military authorities in Burma have promoted the name Myanmar as a conventional name for their state; this decision was not approved by any sitting legislature in Burma, and the US Government did not adopt the name, which is a derivative of the Burmese short-form name Myanma Naingngandaw

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know I worked out a very special deal with SSAUTOCHROME. I have one on the way and should have it installed by next week with photos. I have already gotten a chance to look at the directions which are exellent. They are color photos. The only thing the kit requires is a coolant overflow tank.
