Default Reliable turbo up to 30lbs

Im looking at boosting 20lbs daily but would like to have something that could produce 30lbs via dual stage boost controler, I need to know what turbo would best acomidate my 98rs dohc heads on a EJ22t block I want to stay under $500 and one with fairly quick spool up time.

t3/t04e- I have one for sale for $350 that's used. It's just barely efficient up to 30lbs. I went 12.4 on this turbo at about 23 psi.

Why don't you go with twin turbo kit?

To produce 30lbs safely, massive injectors like 800cc+, massively flowing fuel pump walbro 555 type, huge FMIC, huge turbo, valvetrain upgrades valve springs/retainers, most likely full aftermarket ECU. Not to mention transmission issues with making this kind of power. So thats like easily 5 grand in upgrades for used bits.

You just described my car- Try 35k+

I went with a t4/t67 this time, which I will push to around 30 lbs.

Im boosting 23 lbs daily with my t3/t04E Stage 3. but i did some little custom secrets to the turbo. also, ive just got done putting my engine back together about 6 months ago, been boosting 23 since, no problems.

Oh yea... for all you "SPECIALISTS/GURUS" out there with the know it all attitude, ive done everything to my ride to make it a 23 lbs reliable daily driver. myabe i should change that newbee thing by my name
