Default Whats up guys?- New to the Forum...

Hey whats up all. Just thought I would give a hello to the people in my area on this forum. I'm from Montgomery, AL and I just bought an 04 STI about three weeks ago and I was told that this would be the best place to find out about tech info, parts, etc...So I signed up
Anyways, this is my first Subaru and I'm pretty anxious to start building it, but I'm pretty sure I'll have a lot of questions to ask, so TIA to anyone that might be able to answer them for me...But for the most part I'll probably just lurk around for a little while and not step on anyones toes...I'm new to this forum but I live Honda-Tech, so I know the general demeanor of these kinds of sites...

I cant post pics of my car yet because I dont have 10 posts but as soon as I do, I will post some pics up of my car

Welcome, if you are anywhere near S. Fl you will have a great bunch of guys to deal with. The combined knowledge of the folks hear can pretty much match that of the high ranking Subaru guru's themselves!!!!!
Seriously, you have a great base to mod with. First, figure out what type of car you want to end up with.....by this I mean, an auto-x beast or an all-around street car, show car, etc. Then start working towards it.

Cheers,
Jose

I second the OT warning.

I went in one night when I had to pull an all-nighter, and it took me months to crawl away.

Welcome. There's a bunch of scoob-nuts up here in Birmingham, and some more up in Huntsville too. You've just missed our Alabama Summer Heat Meet, but if you look for the thread you can find some pictures of it. Enjoy your Subaru!

Welcome to the show! Don't worry about stepping on toes.... In fact, you should make it a point to insult the mods at every opportunity, post pics of naked chickens, and test out the swear filters often.

Don't talk to bhamwrxman, he'll mislead you into a life of deboucherous Sheep fornication... Plus he smells funny sometimes.

All seriousness aside: We're a good bunch in Bama. Birmingham seems to be a good hub since it's somewhat centric to everyone. Come up and play for an autocross, or rallycross. We'll all grab beers and food afterwards.

Ha thanks for the replys guys and I appreciate such a warm welcome...
I'm in bham pretty often, in fact I'm leaving to go up there right now
Most of my friends up there work at Autolabz, those of you from the area might have heard of it...but I usually come up there to hang out with them...I'll def. check out the link to the summer heat meet...

Where is the Subaru challenge? Would there be a thread on this? I'm interested in coming out and getting some track time

Again, thanks for all the warm welcomes, it seems to be a pretty laid back/humurous bunch on here
