Just spent three days administering TLC in the form of alternator, plugs, ECT sensor, brakes and a burned out fuse (Main Fan). I'm bummed that I couldn't break loose the strut bolts to put on new suspenders.

Sore, tired and satisfied. I love that little wagon!

I love mine as well.

Which is a good thing considering how much trouble it gives me.

I need to see about replacing the O2 sensor so it will love the environment (and my gas budget), too.

the best part about this thread is how everyone loves their subie, but we're all in the middle of some kind of work on them. Or just finished up some sort of work. HAHA...

Yea, as much as this sunroof water leak is annoying me, I love the wagon. Coolest thing since sliced bread.

I never really noted how well my car handles and holds the road until the girl friend drove it for the first time the other day and i asked her how it was, and her reply was "it drives hot" and i was actually really surprised but took notice to it, it does ride pretty 'hot', so i recently have had a new respect for it

It's an antagonistic relationship sometimes, but I still love it. Burns oil at highway speeds, tranny lurches out of first, leaks oil (very slowly) when it's cold from a suspect head gasket, and 184,000 miles has given it some serious personality. But I like a car with personality, not so much of an appliance like so many new cars are becoming... (Toyota Camry anyone? *shudders*). I'll never get tired of that boxer sound, either...

/me sighs and then stares off into oblivion

I still love mine but today as I was pulling out of my parking place there was almost NO power and it seemed sluggish all day. It wasnt overheating, or if it was the temp gauge is dead, since it was reading normal range. I think I will just reset the computer and that should fix it. Its not throwing any codes so I hope its ok.

So true Matt, most affordable cars now are a sea of blandness. Now that my sunroof leak is gone, the love affair is on again in spades.

I made a trip Tishomingo county on Sat(long story) and swung back through Birmingham to visit with some old friends. We were heading out to dinner and my friend(never seen the wagon before) said man thats a clean-looking wagon, Ive never seen one like that. I stepped back, looked, and said yes, yes it is.
