I've got a set of S03's and they are rated to not excede 50PSI.
Currently, they are just under 30PSI. What is the correct PSI for these tires, or tires in general for both performance and gas mileage? BTW the are on 17' rota SDR's. Cheers!

Look on the inside driver's door jam. F & R recommended psi will be listed there.
Use that as a starting point, and adjust up by a few psi each time until you find a setting that gives you good performance and mpg. You shouldn't need to go anywhere near the max rating for street driving... tops 44/40 f/r or so. Mine's recommended at 36/30 f/r, and I use 38/32 "daily driving." |

The max pressure shown on the tire sidewall is just that. The tire should never be inflated to that pressure. Remember that as the tires heat up the pressure will increase by up to 4PSI or so depending on temperature.
Follow gregr's advice. |

What greg says...the max psi on the tire is cold pressure, so technically you could inflate to that pressure and be fine as far as the tire is concerned. My tires indicate max at 51psi, my door jam says 32 front and 29 rear. I run with 38 front and 34 rear.
