Spacers on stock setup

Anybody running spacers on their stock wheels?

I just want my wheels to be flush with fenders.

Pros/Cons? References?

I ran 5mm spacers for awhile until I tracked down rims to clear my 4-pots. 5mm is too thick and you don't have enough threads left for the lug nuts. Other than that, there is probably little to be concerned with.

what about getting longer bolts so that the lugs will have enough thread? overkill?

because it will look better if the wheels were flush with the fenders

What do you know about suspension dynamics???? How will it affect handling and component life????

i have it and others have told me no no no no bad bad bad but i did it anyways. there are issues , that goes along with anything we really do to our cars so just be ready but the look is soo nice. so do it if you like the look. flush as a toilet here. love the look hate the problems. but i have lived with it ever since i got them on.

What is that supposed to mean? I have to run spacers so my autocross tires will clear the strut. I've had no ill effects. Matter of fact there are plenty of people that rally with spacers. As long as you have the proper thread length on the stud, there are no ill-effects. And actually, can help by increasing track width slightly. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
