Default Travel advice

I'm planning a trip to Wisconsin from Vermont and was thinking of going through Canada. How are the highways? It would be the highway(s) between Montreal and Sault Ste. Marie. 417 and ??. I know it will take longer. I'm not looking for a shortcut. I am looking for a fun interesting drive with lots of great scenery. Good idea? Tell me what you think.

Tom

the highways would be 40 in Qubec, then 417 and 17 in Ontario. That's to get from Montreal to Sault Ste Marie. The Scenery from Ottawa to Sudbury is the same all the way, I don't find it to be to interesting. Then from Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie it's pretty nice cause you follow The North Channel. I would consider you to go from Montreal to Sarnia through Ottawa. It's more interesting. But if you want to get away from big cities and all go to Sault Ste Marie, it's not the nicest place in Canada though.(personal opinion). If you want more info pm me or something. I don't live in that erea but travelled there a lot.
