Default DOT Legal Drag Radial

Would like to know peoples experiances with DOT legal street drag radials?

I am looking at these two - are there others ?

Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial

I had the BFG on my 'Quest for a bit, but they just didn't last long at all, I mean, I got like 2K out of them. I now use the A032R H-compound and am very happy.

I used the BFG drag radials on my camaro. They hooked up really well, but that's what they are made for. Don't expect to drive them on a daily basis. You won't get more than 5k (if your lucky). Any kind of water is a big no no.

I've used both on my old turbo civic and the BFG's hooked better but the nittos lasted longer. I would say go for the BFG's but have a spare set of rims to swap to.
