Default USDM 06 WRX Limited Pics from C&D 50th Event & Estimated Pricing

Got these pics from the Car and Driver 50th Anniversary event.

SOA rep on hand said that Tuner Ready "TR" edition is Real! Pricing is expected to increase by $100 - $200 on STi and WRX models. TR model is expected to cost around $23,000...close to the original price of the 2002 WRX.

USDM 06 STi Pics are located here -> STi Pics

WRX Limited...Enjoy

This is directed at the 06 WRX only...just cause I got them from the C&D event means nothing. I don't see any other threads specifically about the 06 WRX personal pics. And the pics I've seen of the 06 are only promotional. Thought others would in interested instead in seeing these pics instead of sorting through the STi thread. Call me an organizational dork. Please feel free to post your pics as well...

Looks like the exact same engine setup as the Forester XT.

while i think this car looks pretty cool. i am sadened by the fact that SOA/SOJ has decided that we dont need a rear window wiper on the sedans.

and i wonder what kind of hold Bridgestone has over SOA to kepp getting the RE92 put on the WRX?

is that coolant expansion tank on the 06 WRX plastic or metal? if its plastic i suggest to anyone who buys this car to get rid of that tank and replace it w/a metal one as soon as possible.

the old plastic tanks on the legacy sport sedans from 91-94 are breaking if you look at them funny now.

Yet, the WRX and STi look nearly indentical. There's a TON of "omg REAL 2006 shots!!" threads, and I don't see why they can't all be merged. But if you guys want 800 threads about this, I'll play along:

Oh, and I got a good shot of the lease on that car. I wonder what kinda trouble posting that could bring.

confirmed OLD news

230HP 2.5 turbo
235 ft/lbs Tq.

its the FXT motor with a reconfigured WRX ECU.. so slightly more power, alot more torque.
