Question EJ257 block with SOHC heads.

In mating SOHC heads with STI EJ257 Block will this change the cylinder compression ratio at all. the stock ej253 compression is 9.1:1 and the STI is 8.1:1. Or if I put Sti pistons and rods in my stock ej253 block with stock heads will this change the compression?

Just to let you know the Ej253 is 10.0:1 and the EJ257 is 8.2:1. Well I know that for sure in the 05 models at least.

I'm pretty sure this thread could've ended after the first reply.
