Lightbulb ?'s about a Ver. 5 strut/Ground Control setup

Okay, here is the story. I have a 98 OBS with some mods. I use the car as a daily driver/auto-x/and one day...track car. I have always wanted a nice coilover suspension, but $1500+ for a suspension is just out of the question. Anyway, another I-clubber brought up the idea of using a Ver. 5 strut, and a ground control adj. springs. What do you guys think? I would like to know what kind of spring rates I should go with, taking into acount that I have a wagon, and the back end is a bit heavier, and the front end lighter. I can put up with a stiffer ride....say...a little stiffer than the Eibach would be fine. I am mainly going with the adj. springs, so I can adj. ride hight for the winter, and then bring it down to a lower level for racing and summer. I don't know a whole lot about GC springs. What kind of height adjustibality are we talking about here? What spring rates are good for my car? What are my stock spring rates? What are the Ver.6 wagon spring rates? The reason that I just don't go with a regular Ver.6 spring is because I don't like the idea of the front end sitting too high. Please fill in the information that you know.
