Default Latest idiot n00b statement "300whp from 3500 to redline with a vf34 on a 2.0"

I cant believe there are people out there dumb enough to fall for the complete bullcrap their "tuners" tell them

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...04&postcount=3

I know most of OT could care less, but those of you who actually care about the performance side of this site....

I am just getting REALLY sick of tuning shops blatantly fudging dyno numbers on cars that are unsafely tuned, or out and out lieing to people about what they can make a car do, then screwing with dyno settings to make the car produce the bs numbers they promised. Its not fair to the consumer.

Actually, according to my dyno results I have 340whp @ 4500rpm with a vf39 on my 2.0. Do you think they lied to me?

Honestly, I was expecting it to be a fake out the whole time. I thought you were gonna go "just kidding" and flip out on him.

I swear to god, the next vendor that releases a "500whp GT30 kit" is going to recieve a box of soupy logs in the mail.
I have yet to see any of these "500whp" cars run anything better than upper 12's.

But, yeah we believe you, your kit makes 500whp

The didn't say that it was 340 all the way to redline though did they? I'm also assuming your did it at TurboXS so that's why your numbers are "high". I say high because we all know you can't compare dyno A to dyno B, but their dyno is a "high reader".

If you werent spraying or on a built motor, Yup.
TurboXS's dyno reads unrealistically high by about 20-30whp. Actually pretty much all of the dyno's of that model do. But TXS's reads a bit higher than most.
I made 309whp there and my car was NOT a 300whp car.
Also, 340 by 4500 is, again, just not realistic. Take a look at other 2.0 dyno charts. You will notice that the "300whp area" cars are making around 200-250whp at 4500rpm. So you making fully 90-140whp more just doesnt add up (unless you are spraying, or that 2.0 is a fully built, special circumstance motor)

I ust spoke to the guy who did my tuning. It was actually 360whp on a stock blower. That's sounds more realistic to me.

I think it's so sad that you have nothing better to do. In fact, I pity you.
Wipe the potato chip grease off your hands, log off and please go outside. It's for the best.....
