Default Some opinions please

Hello all. I have an 04' WRX wagon. The only suspension mods are Whiteline swaybars (22mm) front and rear with solid endlinks and a Whiteline rear strut tower bar. I am going to buy some wheels and tires for the car and I've come down to two choices...Rota Tarmac II or Rota Boost. I want to go with 17" wheels. What size will I need(offset, 17x?)? Will they rub with 225/45/17 Toyo Proxes. Also any feedback about my tire choice will be appreciated. This will be a summer only setup. During the winter I will use the stock wheels and tires. Thanks in advance,Peter.

AFAIK the Boost is only available in 17x8 ET48 and the Tarmac in 17 (or 18) x 7.5 ET48

I'm running 225/45R17 Hankooks on 17x7.5 ET48 rims no problem - be aware different manufacturers' nominal 225 section width can vary quite a bit though. Ride height and camber are also factors in whether you rub.

Which Proxes? If you mean the Proxes 4 which are A/S - why? if you have dedicated winter tires/rims then get dedicated summers

Even on stock suspension, if you get enough people in the back, you may get some rub in corners with the 225s and +48s. A camber kit may help like UkNuck says.
