Default Baja body removal

Hey has anyone taken off the front bumper and front finder on their Baja.

How hard is it to remove them and about how long does it take.

Getting there There are about....20? plastic clips/pins...that hold the bumper on. And there are also a bunch of screws/bolts. Not hard if you have the right tools and know how to screw Why do you ask?

Be careful working the panels off and on...

The fender sheetmetal is quite thin and not too supported by the headlight... I found this out when I was tightening some loose fender screws and trying to get the panel gap between the fender hood tightened up... I ended up pushing a bit too hard (with my bare hand) and put a nice palm sized dent in the fender....

So now I have to break out the shrinking dolly and a body hammer and try to fix it without destroying the paint...

Good luck on the fix...

Depending on the cost/your tastes....

Maybe replace the front bumper with a dual tube rallitek/mudrat bumper?

They are capable of evicting camping gypsy busses from the neighborhood
