Default New baja, pinstripe opinions?

Well I got my 2005 Regal Blue Pearl today

A Gresham Oregon dealer, got it from Kirkland WA, cleaned it up, and brought it to me AT WORK free of charge

Gresham Nissan/Subaru rules

Now... the car came with an appearance pack that I was fortunately not charged for since this was a dealer locate car and I didnt really want the pack... it looks kinda cool though.

Anyway it has fender molding and a 2 tone silver pinstripe.

Back on the passenger rear corner part of the pinstripe is missing. Either flew off on the freeway, some kids peeled it off at work or it came off during detailing.

Either way.

should I

A: Go back, bitch and get the pinstripe fixed
B: Go back and have em all removed.
C: Suck it up, peel the darn things off myself.

If you want to keep it, take it back and have them repair it. If you don't really want/like it and have the time, have them pull it off and make sure they wax those areas

But if the dealer is out of the way, it shouldn't take you long to pull it up. What I've not liked about pinstriping is that some installers cut into the paint when trimming the ends and when you remove the stripes there is a visable scratch/cut.

I'm kind of with 02_Forester here, it all depends on if you like the pin-striping or not.

Either way, I would have the dealer fix it, especially since they do like to cut into the paint when they apply it. That way you can either have it fixed, or at least have the paint touched up if you need it.

Meh, take it off....

but, I want to see a pic as well, it may be something not really noticable by anyone else..
it's your BAJA, so you might be a little bit more intense when looking at the car.

I'd have 'em take it off, since vinyl striping tends (or at least used to) fade, crack and peel... and it's bitch to wax around... but that's my lame humble opinion though... do what you think looks the best...

I already asked them... they are gonna fix it... should take like 5 minutes.

While I am there they are going to re-route my windshield washer tubing... its been kinking up when I open and close the hood.

Pics will come eventually... I just need a day off first.

Its like one light and one silver stripe right next to each other... looks REALLY good on the dark blue.

You can take it off yourself if you want. All you need is a heat gun, or a hairdryer.

I'm really leaning towards keeping it because it looks soooo nice with it there.

After I get it touched up I will take pics. I promise
