Default 01 RS cylinder head wanted

Wondering if any one was selling a used driver side cylinder head for an 01 RS, and how much they were looking to get for it?

I blew my #2 spark plug and wire out yesterday and cannot screw a spark plug back in anymore. About a month ago I had a carbon explosion in the same cylinder. So I am thinking that a heli coil is not going to last that long if I were to do that. I am thinking just replacing the head is the best way to go. So that is why I am looking.

Thanks

Chris

i have a left bank head that is okay, my right bank head on the otherhand is more expensive then a used head

also you'll want to replace both headgaskets if you are going to be pulling the motor

Head casings are symettrical. Just switch cams and you're set.

Anyone have any thoughts on a heli coil for the plug or is replacinghte head the best way to go on this?

Honestly, I'd think it to be much safer replacing it, and you should be able to find a full head for around $200. If it's the wrong side, you can put your cam and carrier onto that casing to make it the correct side head.

i have the head you need minus the cam, it;s yours if you want it 77k miles no oil consumption on startup or at high RPM. I'll even clean the surfaces for ya

i'd really like to get $150 for it to offset a little bit of the cost of me purchasing a set of heads.

/me grumbles about dropping a valve
