I am looking for peoples experiances with A048s - autocross-road course and possibly drag racing ?
I expect no tire does all three well ?

HAd them in 225/40-18 on an 18x8 inch BBS RE wheel, mated to a 04 STI with full suspension.
Noisey, as in you will swerve HARD right to left thinking you need wheel bearings trying to see if it changes the noise. IT DOESNT. BUT, they stick like an ex girlfriend who has no car. I mean they are great in the dry . Require half a lap to warm up, and are great when you pitch the car into turn 1, ......unlike a Hoosier that will leave you DEEP in the gravel traps. In the rain on the street, it shoots a serious rooster tail, but has better water dispertion than you would expect if you look at the tread pattern. These tires NEED some front negative camber. Like -1.5 to -3.0 for track or autcross. 39lbs worked great for me for track daya and 35 for the street. Side wall is strong , kinda like the stock STI 070 sidewall, except not on as strong a crack as the 070'sm which FYI have THE single hardest sideall on the market, also the heaviest mf out there too. All in all, if they were'nt noisey, I would have never sold them. I love my Pirelli Corsa's. Well, thats my .02 cents worth.
