Default 05 wrx stockers size?

anyone know the dimensions of the stock 05 wrx rims? I need to know the widest I can go on the rims. these RE92s are giving me crap.

16 x 6.5"

largest I have heard people put on them are 225/50-16 - some seem to really like it, others complain about sidewall flex.

My two cents.... It depends more on the tire then the size. A 205/55 and a 225/50, from the same maker, are not that much different in size. I also think a 225/50 is a little wide for a 6.5" rim, causing the sidewalls to bulge and the mushy response people complain about. A better tire, that is meant for hard driving, will improve your handling greatly, even in the same size. Otherwise I would probably save my money and go to a 225/45/17 on a 17x7 or 17x7.5.

how do u not know the size of ur stock wheels?? did u research ur car at all before u bought it??

wow you're a cocky little muther. u guys should check out his posts...they're all complaints by this little guy here. son, the whole purpose of this site/forum is for people to get together and instill knowledge into each other's minds, may they be a novice or expert. Everyone else on this thread seems to help. Did I research my car? Did you research for your SAT's?
