Default Soon to get 18's

Well after long debate between 17x8 or 18x7.5 i opted for the bigger wheel to fill the well. Im going with Rota tarmac 2 in bronze with Kumho Ecsta 711 tires. A total of 1,220.. not bad. Im hoping with stock springs it wont sit high or anything right? Because my drive way is at such an angle that my dad scrapes with his CTS(hes got 18" Enkei), i dont think i can afford to get 18's, then lower it. Ive seen many pics with 18's but dont know if theyve been lowered.

Oh and i dont really care if my laucnh is bad, its bad allready cuz its stock..lol See my deal was from my parents, no engine mods just yet, cuz now i have money, but well buy u wheels for ur birthday, if i buy tires, so i was like Sweet, cuz i just got my skrits painted, which look sick.

Well these r them, any comments, cant wait till they come in

Nice choice, but I think 18's on stock height look a bit strange. (I lowered mine with Prodrives.)
Have you considered 235/40-17's? A little less sidewall, plus a bit wider.

Ugh dont get me started. My choices were 17 lower.. 18's leave till next spring and lower. Like i mentioned.. my driveway SUCKS, its to steep and my dad scratches when he goes down, near his skirts. I dont wanna do that to my freshly painted skirts. So im going with 18's for now, take them off in the winter, then some spring, ill drop it... and if the drivway wont work, ill be parking on the street.

Oh but my dads trying to get the driveway toned down a bit for his next car (CTS-V, XLR, ZO6,M3 coupe(the hatchback deal) Prowler) , i swear hes younger then me sometimes.

Sorry didnt mean to be a buzzkill~
My driveway is fairly steep too and though I've scraped a few times when stock and lowered, I found the sweet spot (and angling) where it wont scrape. But my neighbor's Taurus scrapes every single time. So you might be OK still
