Default Deep Freeze Cryogenics Aug Drivetrain Specials

Deep Freeze Cryogenics will be offering 20% off our normal prices to NASIOC members for the month of Aug. We also guarantee a 5 day turn around, and an increase in the durability of your transmission and drivetrain components. I can attest the added durability of the cryogenics process, my WRX tranny is still holding strong after my 2.5 swap, autox's and track days.

We can cryo the entire tranny or you can send it in component form. We also do differentials, rings & pinion, axles, CV's, and any other drivetrain component you can think of

40 bucks, but with the intro special that would work out to be 32 dollars

Funny you should bring that up, we just did a batch of bats for a local baseball team.

You need to remove the rubber inputs shaft seal and sensors that are connected to the tranny but the cryogenic process does not damage plastic.

Have any of your customers ever bring in 4EAT parts for cryo, and will I see any benefits?

Out of topic sidenote : Have you guys threw in some 'lil creatures like rats in the cryo machine? My bro who work at a bio lab had tried putting a cricket in a test tube and then pour in liquid nitrogen. He then throw the whole tube + cricket to the sink and --splash!-- whole cricket shattered!

I've seen a metal rod shatter after shock loading it in liquid nitrogen, but I haven't frozen any animals or insects.

We've cyro'd WRX trannies before, none of them 4EAT though. The benefits would be the same as the manual tranny though, an increase the gears and subparts resistance to wear, i.e. greater durability.

Nice info, thanks Jeremy. I have another question just popped up in my mind, and this maybe off-topic -- How useful do you think, if I throw in a set of 4 springs and cryo it, will it change the spring rate as well?

How much do you charge to cryo-treat an entire WRX 5-speed tranny?

To be honest, I've never cyo'd a set up suspension springs but the same would apply, the spring would be able to hold its spring rate pressure longer, i.e. increase wear resistance.

Smile Golf Irons?

Since you mentioned baseball bats, what would it run for a set of golfclub irons?

Just remove any attached sensors and the rubber input seals, everything else can be dunked. We can cryo the entire thing or in component form.

Well since its under 150lbs I wouldn't use a truck freight company, it would probably be more through them then say UPS ground. Try checking with FED Ex Freight also.
