Default Where can I get an Engine building book for the EJ25

I need to find a book on how to building an engine from the ground up with all the info. Like what size valves, Cam sizes etc. I've already have searched on the net. And haven't found crap. And no I don't want a subaru service manual because that won't tell me crap.

The book you want does not exist.

Haynes has the valve sizes and factory tolerances...but nobody has written the "Subaru engine building cookbook" yet.....

Default Book in Process

I had a similar question about a year ago and decided to write my own. I have a lot of the facts, charts, etc. I am handing it all to my wife/editor to type into a readable format. It should be ready within the year. (2013)
A sample page I have just finished is a comparison matrix of mixing and matching heads/blocks/pistons/gasket thickness to achieve a desired compression ratio. Eliminates guesswork.
Will post an announcement on my website when it is finished.
