Question Stromung Dual Tip 3" Catback exhaust has a dent?

I haven't installed this catback, but I'll update on the sound and quality of the part soon.

I just got it. The pipe that comes before the muffler section (is this the midpipe?) has a dent. But it doesn't look like a damage during shipping....it looks like it was made like that. The dent is around the section where this pipe mates to the third cat. Anyone knows about this? Thanks.

I search for some pics and it looks like the dent is not really a dent...

What's the donut gasket ppl are talking about? My Stromung came with only one gasket that looks like this: http://www.fastwrx.com/reexga.html

Do I need anything else? Thanks. Can't wait to install it.

If you are still running a stock DP and cats, the donut gasket will be on them when you remove the midpipe. If your car is fairly new, it will be reusable. If your car is high mileage, you'll want to get a new one because it will be to crushed to make a good seal...

Thank you, Matt. My exhaust is stock now. I have 21K on it...so i'm not sure if I need a new gasket. I'll just find one to make sure it seals then. Thanks.
