That's actually a pretty nice lookin Baja. I'm not a fan of them in general but yours pulls it off nicely.. tho I think you would have to drop it for the 18"s to look right..

NICE! Very Nice.
Get taller tires to protect the wheels.

Yes the person who had them before beat the crap out of them... the tires were to short....they were just laying around so I thought what the heck...

So anyone selling some awesome 18's?? heheh

I am seriously considering lowering it...
lowering > offroading?? yeah i think so...

Does this mean any Audi wheel will fit the Baja? There are some nice options if they do fit.

I've got mine lowered and while the handling is much improved, I now slow down a little when hitting speed bumps or large dips in the road -- where before I kept the hammer down.

I am really happy with my 18" rims and the all-season tires are not bad, a little noise but nothing intrusive ( imho ).

The ION super sport front springs (30mm lower in the front than the ION springs I have now) just arrived today ( thanks Jack ), I will be experimenting some more this thursday to get a rake upward in the rear.

I have Perry's old '03 Baja Sport springs and a set of '01 Outback springs, which are nearly identical to the Baja Sport springs.

I just LOVE that color... I would have gotten that if I had waited for the 05's...

almost any 5x100 audi or vw wheel with a high offset would fit

I am pretty sure I am gonna lower my Baja... I am jealous of yours...!!

While the bolt pattern might be the same, most stock VW and Audi TT rims are around +45 offset. By having the wheel too far out from the hub can cause hub damage and a +45 would could put undue stress on the bearings (Baja wheels are around +48 to +52 like most Subarus with 48 being the minimum for aftermarket 7.5" wide wheels) and would cause premature failure.. especially with the Bajas bloat. I ran a 16 x 8 and it was offset 45, but the wheel was 8" wide to compensate and things were mighty tight (WRX Wagon)!!

VWs can get away with running up to a 10mm differential. Subaru hubs are not as strong and cannot/should not.

Most VWs are coming with around 45... throw a tire on that and you also get some rubbing.

On a side note... the 18 x 10 from the original post must have been aftermarket for the TT because they sure aren't stock. And at that, the offset would have to be even lower (like in the +20s) for them to fit properly on a TT. (I can't see a TT fitting 10" wheels unless some work was done.)

Ohh, I never thought Great Dane. She looks a lot like a Greyhound mixed with something else. The white color threw me. Nice dog still.

I think we should start a thread of "Dogs and their Bajas!"

;-)

She is adorable. I have never seen a Great Dane that color. I have seen the Black & White Danes - I think sometimes they are called Boston in that color.

Are her eyes both blue or different colors ?
Did her dad have pink eyes (full - true albino mammals are pink eyed - like white mice) ?
