Default World speed record - Legacy Wagon?

This is old news I guess, but I just randomly found it when I was trying to look up some history on Subaru.

In 1993, a Subaru Touring Wagon set a new world speed record in a mass produced, unmodified station wagon?

Perhaps Subaru needs to revisit the salt flats with the new '05 Wagon.
