Default dunlop sp sport suggestion

I'm looking for a summer tire that will last me at least 2 seasons, or 25-30 thousand miles or so. I drive hard sometimes, but nothing crazy.

i was thinking about the dunlop sp sport fm901, they are 100 /tire plus 50 dollar rebate. since there were only 3 reviews i would like more feed back.

any input would be great, thank you

FM901s are one of the most hated tires here. Most people will suggest Falken FK451s for that price range.

Listen to your Uncle. I have the ES100s and they are just OK performance wise, but they make an incredible amount of noise. It's too bad that the Tire Rack recommended them to me. Oh well.

yeah i agree, they are just ok performance wise and noisy. i don't believe they are as terrible as some people say. of course i just daily drive on them. there better tires for less money and even better tires for a little more money.

fm901s suck, im still stuck with them for until whenever they wear out, i only have 2k miles on them so far =(

however, they do beat the RE92s...

they make a LOT of noise, they hardly inspire confidence. not the grippiest of tires.

If you're on the OEM 16" wheels, have you considered the SP Sport 5000 asymmetricals?

I've had Dunlop SP8000 in 225/50 16. Really good grip...... until it rains.

Price is right at about $ 100 each.
