Not much. You can do it yourself by buying a patch kit or take it to a tire place and get charge 15-20.

That's an easy repair. If it was in the sidewall... new tire!

go to autozone and buy a tire plug kit for less than $15. Will plug many many holes.

If you have the receipt for your tires the place you bought them from may accomodate you for free or very little. If you bought the tire warranty they would give you a new tire. Or get some tire store guy to plug it for ya for $10-20.

Since the screw is at such a shallow angle, a plug probably won't work in this case. You can try a patch, or you can replace the tire (and probably the one across from it too, unless all four tires have less than, say, 1K miles on them)

Shoulda got the warranty... I got the tires from tire rack about 20K miles ago. I checked our local autozone but all they had were bike tire patch kits. So now the car's at our local firestone as we speak getting patched up. Will this patched tire give me any future issues?

if you buy tires locally and not online you should get free flat repair.

My sportbike riding buddies have all sorts of stories about going multiple thousands of hard miles on plugged tires, but that's plugs. I would imagine a patch on the inside of the tire should be pretty solid since all the air pressure is working to hold it down. But never had one myself so I don't know for sure. If you get a patch, report back in 5K miles and let us know how it is!
