Legacy "MY03" and other alpha-numeric refference designations..

I'm new round here... and I see all these Alpha numeric designations tossed around in regards to our cars.. And I have no clue what they mean...

So..

I have a 2003 legacy wagon L - special edition, with the 2.5L and an Automatic tranny...

So... what are all the applicable alpha numeric designations for my car so when people talk about them I know they apply to me?!?!!

MY03 = shorthand for Model Year 2003
BH = 2003 Legacy wagon
EJ25 = N/A 2.5L engine
4EAT = Auto tranny

hope this helps

I think you may have read EJ251 and thought the 1 was an i. EJ251 is the full name for the Phase II EJ25 (Someone correct me if I'm wrong please). At least that's the name for it in my manual on my '01
