Nice...was that $400 for both wheels and tires or just the wheels?

All four wheels and tires…
I bought them used off a wrx owner who couldn’t seem to find a buyer, and over time decided to accept my lower offer. I cleaned them up real nice, but a couple of the wheels do have some minor curb rash. The tires on the other hand are nearly brand-new..!

Those look great on your car, And they aren't flashy either, so you can retain your sleeper-ness.

Damnation. You have such a clean looking car. Panels are so straight and the paint is so clean.

Your car is seriously nicer than some of the FACTORY Jap GT's I used to see back home...Good job.

Very nice. I could drive forever on all the used rims and tires people sell around here. I am currently on WRX wheels and ES 100's I bought for $250.

No rubbing so far… I’m lowered 1.5” in the front and 1” in the rear and it’s definitely a tight fit (front). I’ll be monitoring it closely but so far, no rubbing…

Looks really good.

Also, I love the completely unnecessary engine bay shot at the end I'd do the same if I had your setup.

You probably have this posted elsewhere, but what have you got in the way of suspension on the car? Looking at the close-up, down-the-side-of-the-car shot, I can't imagine you'll go very long with no rubbing if you push the car at all, unless you have some really high spring rates.

You could probably use some negative camber at both ends of the car. Maybe it's just the pics, but the wheels look very vertical. Dialing in some negative camber would tuck the tops of the tires inside the fenders (to hopefully prevent rubbing in hard corners) and would also improve handling.

Anyway, the car does look really, really nice with those wheels. As others have already said, better than stock, but still a "sleeper" look.

Yeah, I’m going to have to keep a close eye on it, but fortunately the springs I’m using were already settled having come off another vehicle when I installed them, so it shouldn’t get any lower then the present.

For suspension I’m running the following:
WRX struts
Whiteline control springs (front), hotchik wrx springs (rear)
Whiteline front and rear sway-bars with end-links.
(some pics in this thread)

Thanks for the tips with the camber, I actually adjusted it myself using the precision one-eye shut instrument when I installed my struts I’ve been waiting to finish some the rest of the suspension setup including tires/wheels before taking it down for a full alignment. Do they adjust camber in the front as part of your typical alignment?
