I am planning on getting a new car around Sept/Oct and I can't rule out the Legacy GT. I don't want to test drive until I am ready to buy. I have read here that the suspension is not as aggresive as the WRX, which I think isn't very aggressive itself.
For those of you who have driven both, can you give me a comparison. How does the Legacy handle compared to other cars. Its it more BMW, or more Toyota Camery?

The Legacy is tuned to be a road touring champion, not a cone dancing tarmac machine.
It's a system designed from factory to provide you with better than average response but not to compromise comfort for passengers. It's certainly capable enough around a few tight corners, but don't expect to have it sitting flat and level around them. I think the suspension is on par with the 05 WRX, bearing in mind the WRX is a slightly lighter platform and therefore a little more skittish. If you were planning to do more than just daily touring and commuting, I would be swapping the springs and swaybars for something stiffer. |
