Default WTB 95-99 Legacy 2.2L exhaust headers

I'm looking for a set of exhaust pipes for my 95 Legacy. It is for a 2.2L and the headers or exhaust that connects to the cylinder head is fine. The part that Iím really looking for is the two pipes that connect to the Y pipe. My driverís side one is rattling like crazy. I'd like to find a set out of a 99 or 98. If not something that is low mileage. email me cuz Iím not on this board much. emyselfandi@yahoo.com. I attached a pic of the parts that Iím looking for. Thanks, Tim

You Should Take A Look At Your Ports On The Bottom Of You Engine If You Have A Dual Port 2.2 You Can Also Use The 2.5 Headers For The Gt The Only Time You Should Worry About Having The 2.2 Headers Is If You Have A Single Port 2.2-i'm Not Even Sure Of The Engine Years Those Are I Have 95 Dual Port Ej22

mike, how do i check if it's a dual port or single? mines a 95 LSi 2.2. the header part is one single metal tube on either side. Then it has a clamp on each side of the pipe that is connected to the Y. I have a picture posted here:

Javier, the tube is loose and rattling like crazy. I thought it was a bad bearing in one of the timing belt pullies. Had my wife take her suby into the stealership for a free estimate. They said it was the head shield on the Y pipe... Quoted 450 to fix it. I called and only suby has the exhaust parts.. Is the heat shield just covering the exhaust tube? How did they tack it up? Might go this route b/c it will be 10-20 bucks... thanks, Tim

Strip the heat shields off. They're not critical. And they will just start rattling again anyway.

You can either take the heat shields off completely or take your car to Midas or Meineke and have them tack weld the sheilds for a couple bucks. $450 sounds like the stealer is quoting a new header which is completely unnecessary.
