Default New Prodrive Rear Diff Protector WRX or STI Group Buy.

We are going to be doing a group buy on the new Prodrive Rear Diff gaurds. They are made out of lightweight alloy, material is 3/8" thick from what we are told. These will save your rear diff from getting destroyed by providing a extra berrier of protection. Unlike the optional subaru rear diff gaurd, these will work with aftermarket exhaust systems. We are getting test fit batch sometime this week and we will start fitting them up. Here is a picture of the item.

There are two seperate part numbers for each car.

GROUP BUY CLOSED !!!

Ok, I got you added up on the list, we are getting a batch in stock in the next few days. We want to get them tested first before we start shipping them out to everyone. We will contact you as soon as some are available to ship out.

For everyone else, we will add you up on the list. We will contact you when payment is required and we have them available to ship.

Those are hot. My only worry is that they might buckle when jacking up the car.

agreed. before install, could you just put a piece of wood 'tween the gaurd and the diff so the weight gets xfered to the diff? Also, would undoing those bolts require loosening all the other related ones and retorquing evenly?

We have jacked our car up on the protector and it has not buckled at all. It is a very stong piece.

what's the torque specs on those bolts? Does it come with longer ones to make up for the space of the bracket? Really interested.

just got the ups package today and all i have to say is that if it made it through ups it will make it through anything

man am i glad you guys double boxed them--i looks like they tried to install the piece on their truck while it was still in the box and then ran over it a couple times

just a quick question == did you guys use anything special to clean yours??--mine is really dirty because of ups dragging around the block a couple times before delivering it

They don't come with new bolts. the bracket isn't very overy thick that will sit between the diff and the bolt, i wasn't worried about it when i put ours back together.

Yikes, i'm definately glad we double boxed it. As far as cleaning it goes, i would think some WD or some Gas would do the trick. Let us know how it goes.

Just wanted to thank Rick (and Nick) for letting me get in on the group buy price over the phone while I was unable to get to a computer at the time of my order...

It was a pleasure doing business with you guys...

Will the PRODRIVE rear differential protector fit with a JDM exhaust on my WRX? I have a CUSCO DP and a Kakimoto angled exhaust.
