i have look to the list

and i have look to the subaru pn numbers but can not find the

number on my heads, engine en block number

where are the can anybody help ??

You should be able to use the tag on the front of the motor (timing cover).
Numbers are on the head between the intake ports IIRC

the P/N numbers are not between the intake manifold that are oder numbers?

What's A Head Gasket?

Does anyone know the compatibility of different JDM STI ECU's to other cars? I have an 02 JDM STi Limited running the AH970 ECU. Unfortunately it's locked with an Ecutek tune and I wanted to go with opensource. I've got a line on another Ver 7 JDM STi ECU (just waiting on pics to verify what year and model it's from). Does any one know if those year ECU's are interchangeable?

is there any way to tell what engine i have? it does not have the timing covers, but does have big port heads, so i know its a version 8, only number i have is on the back top of the block, is there anyway to decifer that to know if i have an early or late ver 8 engine

what numbers/letters have casted on the heads?
I don't think there's a way to ID it under the block number, unless you are SOJ

so I have an jdm ej20 with a TT setup
I am not shure witch one it is as it is missing the actual engine number on the timing belt cover
here are a few numbers
beside the cast number ej20
76 ab
12212

on the bell housing
817454714817
790253

I also have the throttle body numbers
RTL60-30 1
6Y20

if someone could give me a link or something to what these numbers mean i would be extremely great full
