Wheels that fit WRX...

In regarding of the sticky post, is there a "Wheels that fit WRX" thread?

My friend has a set of 18X7.5 et42 wheels, wonder if these will cause rubbing on a 05 WRX sedan? i had searched for quite some time now, i notice that most of the 18X7.5 wheels are et48, and rarely et42. Moreover, searched throughout the forum, and have different answers, some no some yes.

So wonder if there are any 18X7.5 et42 owners out there who can let me know what the correct answer is.

Since i am not too familiar with Subarus, i notice that Sti's brakes are bigger than WRX. According to that fact, if the wheels on the "Wheels that fit Sti" post such as Gram Lights 57Pro = 18x8_ET40... (imminence) or Prodrive GC-010 = 18x8_ET43__(17.75 lbs)... (Dan@Prodrive-USA.com) fit , than wouldn't these wheels will also fit WRX as well, since WRX has smaller brakes and not that much out.
