Want engine mgmnt?
I sell ViPec's ECU's

Default noizy ver 6 engine. What short block to go with?

Any recommendations? Should I fix the stock ver6 bearings or upgrade to 2.2T or maybe 2.5T

What will work good with ver 6 heads? Can Legacy 2.2T shortblock still be purchased from dealer? If so what is the part number?

Thanks

Greg

Very hard to still find a new replacement EJ22T block from the dealer. They have stopped making them, and there was a run on them when Crawford and Axis started doing builds with them. Your best bet is an Ej257 STi block. They are about $400 cheaper (if you can find an EJ22T block) and more displacement.

Let me know if you want to sell that v6 bottom end. I might be up to rebuilding it...

2.5 block with forged pistons and rods and you'll be happier than a pig in the mud.
