3.9 if I am not mistaken.
I know for a fact the rear is a 3.9, so it would only make sense.
Thanks,

Is the trans a push or pull style? (turbo or N/A)

What exactly do you have for early Legacys? Mostly go, little show.

Basically looking for anything that would be usefull for an Auto to Manual swap in a '93 Legacy turbo.

Hey man,
The 1997 subaru tranny is N/a. What parts were you looking for from the 1990? I really have no performance parts for that car that I am not using for my setup. I am still not sure whether I am going to use the wrx intercooler of the legacy intercooler setup yet...I will have a spare motor laying around though.
Thanks,
-Tim

Hey amn,
How far is where you live from camp pendleton? We might be able to arrange a pickup...
As for the trans it is going to need a 2nd gear snchro eventually( as it has 118k on it), however this is really only noticed when driving it hard. As for whining, no more than it did when I bought it new. That being said, I will be pretty lenient on price.
Thanks,
-Tim

Hey man,
You name a price you think is fair and it's yours. It currently has a brute force sport clutch and had the flywheel resurfaced maybe 12 miles before my engine showed up I started the swap.
Thanks for your time,
-Tim

If the motor is not running and is a full setup with accesories, I'm interested.

I have a block and heads and am wanting to build the engine on a bench to make the swap easier. I need ancillary pieces, not the motor itself.

Hey man,
The engine is running fine, but I might be interested in selling off everything off of it. If no one ends up buying the motor I would be more than willing. What pieces did you want?
thanks,
-Tim
