What the crap is up with the CF window tinting they are advertising in Magazines. OMG (runs to the bathroom to puke)

Understand i would never vandalize someones car, because i have had it done to me, but that tint would REALLY make me reconsider.

Well....Honda has a 6-speed manual box with Carbon synchronizers. I believe it's 1st and 2nd gears.

Honda USA S2000 site

Click on "6-Speed Manual Transmission" and the description in it says, "Honda engineers designed a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission for the S2000. Slick, tough, carbon synchronizers smooth the way, and the overall gear ratios are revised for stronger acceleration in lower gears."

At least one car built by Honda is good. :-)

The carbon in the S2000 means carbon steel, not carbon fibre/er.

Indeed. But if one were to say I have carbon synchros, which carbon would come into mind first? This just might be a small misunderstanding.
