Sorry for interrupting your thread, but does anyone know who's blue WRX that is? I keep seeing it on the 91 freeway in So Cal and I'm just curious.

Thanks,

Default with all the research I've done this

should be easy!! but it is not!

1st set. hard to see the wheels but they look like Grahm Goode ggs1104's.

2nd set. ??

3rd set I've seen 'em in my search for the RD Sport look-alikes, don't remember the brand, they'd look great on a black car!

The first ones are Axis NE-Os. Don't know the second one. Everybody knows the third one.

The anthricite wheels may be a set of Speedline GT-1s that a fellow i-club member had polished.

I cant get a good view of them because they are in the shade.

So there you go.

Default Not GT1's

I'm fairly sure the anthracite wheels are NOT Speedline GT1's. The wheels in the picture seem to have 10 spokes, GT1's have 12.
Have no clue what they could be!

Default axis wheel comment...

hey, those are the 19s on that car (to freakin big!)...anyway, i called washington tire and wheel a second ago. i know they make that wheel in 17s, so i asked the dude if it would fit a WRX. he told me it would fit just fine..."of course, we put them on subarus all the time (riiiiiiiiiight). i then asked him to check the offset and he replied, "they're 40mm." DOH! "dude, that's wayyyyy to low for a WRX...it's gotta be 48 or higher." sounding incredulous, he remarked, "are you sure? like i said, we put them on subarus all the time."

boyyyy, talk about your "i'll say anything" to sell a wheel salesman...sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-it!

i still like the wheel though...does anyone know if they make an applicable offset for the wheel...in 17s????

thx,
db97
