Smile 97 GT w/ '05 LGT wheels

Well, I finally got a couple of (terrible) photos of the '05 LGT wheels on my GT.

I'm still sorting out a couple of suspension issues so I can get the car properly aligned, but I'm happy with them so far.

A word of warning to anyone considering these wheels, they are HEAVY. The 4 rims and stock potenzas came to 204lbs! Estimating 23lbs/tire that means each rim is 28lbs.

click the pics for larger versions.

They may be heavy, but that looks very clean!

Looks good. I noticed you have supertones, i was thinking about getting them. The one on the drivers side looks off center though, is that the only way it will work? Or can they be equal on both sides?

If you can get a better shot of what they look like through the grill i would love to see it! Thanks

That looks pretty hot...I was tempted to get a set a while back, but couldn't justify paying so much for OEM subaru rims...so I went with rotas instead but good choice nonetheless!

I have always said it, Subaru makes some of the best OEM wheels out there, that can be used cross-platform with no hassles.

Very nice, I think those wheels suit that gen legacy more than the '05. Very nice. Surprising how heavy though.

Thanks, I mounted them that way because I didn't want to drill new mounting holes through the radiator support, by putting them slightly off-center I was able to use the lower bolt for the hood latch and put another bolt into an existing threaded hole. They sound great!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but if you are patient you can pick them up at decent prices. A lot of the guys over on LegacyGT.com sell them off when they get aftermarket wheels.

Looks nice, I agree they suit your year better than the 05 lgt's.

Not to hijack, but I have a set of 05's im trying to sell they have less than 8k miles
on them no curbage or scratches. PM me for price.
