Default oz bbs or volks

I'm considering whether i should buy bbs rg-f wheels or oz superleggera or volks rims for my blue rex. im not sure if the 17's that i put on my car will mess up my suspension because i have smaller springs or if 16;s will look to small. also i love the 17 superleggeras but i am interested in what you guys think. i know its not good to put aftermarket rims on ur car cuz it messees up the dimensions and what not. also wut tires do u recommend (size and brand).

As long as you know what you're buying, then why would it mess up your suspension? Go safe like I did. Get STi BBS wheels. Your suspension will be fine.

Read up on the FAQ thread about offsets. That's the most important thing about wheels to be concerned with.

volks all the way. or STi BBS's. (I'm partial to volks, but the money is an issue with them)

Read up on the FAQ's. Your suspension will be just fine. Try for a 17X8.5, so you can stick some wide tires under your car. And pay attention to offsets like mentioned above.

Just remember, your ride will not be as soft as it is now and you'll get more road noise. Your tires are going to be thinner as well, so watch out for pot holes. If you plan on getting any wheel, save up some money and get some sturdy lightweight ones. The wheels you are considering should be good enough.

I've got 17" BBS RK's on my blue WRX and they look great. Got them on sale from Tirerack with Goodyear F1 GS-D3s (225/45-17) already mounted for about $1500. My car is lowered about 1" on Whiteline G4's and I haven't had any problems at all.

It's noob or n00b you noob! just kidding

Superleggeras are pretty popular. Though they are usually not as strong, lightweight or durable as BBS wheels. I believe the Superleggera is cast aluminum (with the exception of Superleggera III). My BBS wheels are forged. More money, but lightweight and stronger

Default What's the going rate for 17" BBS Forged w/ rubber?

Anyone have a clue what a near perfect set of 17" BBS forged alloys are worth w/ rubber? I have a connection to pick up a set that are take-offs from a dealer. These things are barely riden on. Any help?

I would say $1300 assuming the tires are in brand new condition

OZ SL's are excellent wheels considering they weight in at 15lbs and cost around $240/wheel. But they are pressure cast. If you want forged wheels, your other selections are good, but be prepared to pay at least $200+/wheel more.
